Kidz B Kool enjoys YouTube Kids; all family-friendly YouTube Channels in one place. YouTube kids was created for younger kids, it provides a safer version of YouTube which is easy for younger children to use.
Free to download and use: available on Google Play and App Store!
I really like that on the home screen (Recommended); selected videos are placed into four categories:
Music: This is my favourite category; Music only contains music suitable for kids
Learning: Contains anything from numbers, letters, science, language, art- anything that helps kids grow and learn
Shows: Kid-Friendly Popular YouTube Channels
Explore: Allows children to explore the world around them, hobbies and topics that they’re interested in.

Search in YouTube Kids
Your child can search for videos from the magnifying glass in the top corner of the app.
A really great feature is that your child can press the microphone to speak what video they’re looking for.

There are Parental Controls that allow you to tailor the YouTube Kids experience:

Search
On YouTube Kids there is a search option which can be turned on and off. To turn off search you enter the Parental Control panel.
With search off, your child can only watch videos from the home screen which are selected by the app and recommended from past watching history.
Timer
Allows you to set a timer to limit the amount of time spent on YouTube Kids
How to set the timer:
-Tap the lock icon in the bottom corner of any page in the app.
-Read and enter the numbers that appear or enter your custom passcode.
-Select Timer
-Use the slider bar or the + and - icons to set a time limit
-Tap Start Timer

Kids will see a "Time's up!" notification and the app will be locked once the time limit has been reached. To unlock the screen, select the lock icon again, read and enter the numbers that appear or enter your custom passcode, select Timer and tap End Timer.
Clearing history
You can clear watch and search history in Parental Settings. When you clear history, the app will reset Recommendations and Watch It Again. The app automatically resets your watch and search history when you turn search off.
Custom Passcode
You can set a custom passcode for access to Parental Controls and settings:
-Tap the lock icon
-Tap Set My Own Passcode
-Read and enter the numbers shown
-Enter a 4-digit passcode of your choice
-When prompted, re-enter your passcode to verify
You can change or delete your passcode in Settings:
-Tap the lock icon and enter your passcode
-Select Settings
-Tap Change Passcode to set a new passcode or tap Delete Passcode to -remove your custom passcode and revert back to default passcodes.
If you forget your passcode, you can reset it by uninstalling and reinstalling the YouTube Kids app. Keep in mind that you’ll lose existing recommended videos when you uninstall the app.
Home screen age level
When you first open the YouTube Kids app, you'll be asked what age level of videos your child enjoys.
-Nursery-school age
-School age
-All kids
After you make a selection, the YouTube Kids initial home screen will show videos that may interest children in that age range. Note that videos intended for younger or older children will still be available through search.
Once your child has watched a few videos, the app will begin recommending videos on the home screen based on the terms that they've searched for and videos that they've watched. These videos might be outside of the age range originally chosen.
Update your age level settings at any time:
-Tap the lock icon in the bottom corner of any page in the app.
-Read and enter the numbers that appear or enter your custom passcode.
-Select Settings.
-Tap Home screen Age Level (on Android) or Content Age (on iOS).
