iPad Tips & Tricks: Text Replacement

Continuing on from our last iPad Tips and Tricks post: Larger Text, today we’re showing how to use the free feature- text replacement.The text replacement feature will help you type quicker by allowing you to add commonly used phrases into shorten words or letters.
We hope you enjoy our step by step guide below:
Step One
Text replacement can be found in settings- General- Keyboard

Step Two
Text replacement is the second from the top

Step Three
Here is where you can add shortened words or letters that represent longer phrases

Step Four
We will be adding Kidz B Kool as an example, press the '+' on the top right corner of your iPad screen

Step Five
Now you can type the full phrase you want to shorten- we're using ‘Kidz B kool’ for this guide


Step Five
Now to add a shortcut- ours will be KBK for Kidz B Kool, then save

Step Six
Once saved, this will bring you back to the word replacement A-Z page, you'll now see the shortcut in the list

Bonus
When you type with your keyboard you'll find the shortened phrase come up as a suggested word
