Get ready Nintendo fans- MiiTOMO app is coming to a device close to you

Great news for Nintendo fans around the world, Nintendo has outlined the launch plans for their first mobile app exclusively made for smart devices called MiiTOMO.

The MiiTOMO app will be launched in March for us Australian and New Zealand fans, which will Spark One-of-a-Kind Conversations with Friends, if that isn’t enough in this huge March launch Nintendo are launching the Nintendo Rewards Program too.

Great news is that the MiiTOMO app will be available for both iOS and Android devices.

So what is MiiTOMO?

MiiTOMO is a social experience that uses Nintendo Mii characters to engage with friends. You’ll be able to interact with your friends by asking questions, sharing your experiences and even sharing photos using the Miifoto feature.

This is going to be huge, there is already over 200million Mii characters created worldwide.

Nintendo’s new MY Nintendo Rewards program which is being launched alongside MiiTOMO in March will be able to connect with MiiTOMO. Nintendo are aiming to make this new rewards program more than just your traditional rewards program.

My Nintendo Rewards will be a more comprehensive service that rewards users for interacting with Nintendo products and services in a variety of ways. You can use these rewards you earn to enhance your MiiTOMO experience even more.

To be among the first to get in on the fun in Australia or New Zealand, be sure to create a Nintendo Account, because starting on the 17th of February those of you with a Nintendo Account can pre-register for MiiTOMO which means you will be among the first people to be notified of the release.

Nintendo will be offering a special MiiTOMO bonus to those in Australia and New Zealand that create a Nintendo Account between 17th February and the Launch.

MiiTOMO is just the start of great things for Nintendo breaking into the app world, Nintendo have plans to release 5 smart devices apps by the end of March 2017!
