iPad Tips and Tricks- larger text

Turn on your apple device and head to the settings- general, have you ever checked out accessibility? You will see that the iPad has many built-in features for people with:

  • impaired physical and motor skills

  • blind or low vision

  • hearing impairment

  • Learning difficulties

  • Or just to make life easier

Today’s blog post I will be discussing the feature ‘Larger Text’, I personally use this feature on my iPad since it makes using the iPad easier on my eyes especially for those times I have misplace my glasses which is more often than not.

Step One:

Setting- General- Accessibility

Step Two

Tap Larger Text

Step Three

Now you can move the slider to make text larger or smaller

Bonus tips

  • If you need even larger text, tap the slider above

  • Text settings can also be found in Settings- Display & Brightness

  • Apps that support Dynamic Type Text will adjust to your selected text size

This week I will be discussing and showing tutorials about the built-in features for the iPad that can make your iPad more accessible for yourself or child. Many people aren’t aware of these amazing FREE features and I hope this week’s blog series helps you discover them.
