Australian and New Zealand Legend of Zelda fans will be extremely happy once March rolls around, with the release set for March 5th for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for Wii U.
This title may sound familiar since it was originally released back in 2006 for the Nintendo GameCube and Wii. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is an HD remake of the original release and with being one of the most critically-acclaimed Legend of Zelda games in the series it will have Legend of Zelda fans cheering with joy.
Amiibo News
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for Wii U is enhanced with the power of amiibo.
Check out the Official- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD amiibo trailer below to see the amiibo’s in action:
Use the new Wolf Link amiibo to open the exclusive Cave of Shadows bonus challenge. The Cave of Shadows is a brand new area where skilled players can use the powers of Wolf Link and Midna to take on increasingly tougher enemies on each floor.
A great feature for the Wolf Link amiibo is that it can store hearts that you earn while playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess to be used while taking on the Cave of Shadows.
Once you have completed the Cave of Shadows, you can then save a record of your remaining hearts to the Wolf Link amiibo, and attempt to beat your score whenever you want.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will be compatible with five other The Legend of Zelda amiibo from the Super Smash Bros. Collection:
1 and 2- Both the Link and Toon Link amiibo will refill your arrows
3 and 4- Zelda and Sheik amiibo will refill the heart gauge
And 5- Ganondorf amiibo will cause enemy attacks to inflict twice as much damage until the play session ends!
So time to count those pennies and put them away for this March! The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will be available on March 5th on the Nintendo eShop for AU$79.95/NZ$99.95 or in a Special Edition bundle at retailers that includes the Wolf Link amiibo and an audio CD with a selection of the game’s official soundtrack for SRP AU$99.95.
