Bake Cookies Day

Yesterday was the day that Cookie Monster waits for all year! The 18th of December was BAKE COOKIES DAY, you can find all the funny and weird days of the year at www.daysoftheyear.com. Today is Look For An Evergreen Day but Kidz B Kool is a tad sad we missed yesterdays Cookie Day!

So in the spirit of the belated (better late than never) Bake Cookies Day I think we all should bake or buy some pre-baked cookies. Buying cookies is my plan since its 44c today and to turn the oven on would be silly.

Whoever created this day clearly didn’t have our Australian Summer in mind. It does make sense to have Bake Cookies Day in the middle of the holiday season, what is Christmas without baking?!

Those of us that are melting today but want to get involved, a Kidz B Kool tip would have to be one from our 101 School Holiday Ideas Number 28:

“Yummy mess- buy some plain biscuits like arrowroot by Arnotts, use some of that already to go icing and let the kids decorate their own cookies with lollies and sprinkles”
