Kidz B Kool is always on the lookout for new and exciting things to share with our readers. One website we keep an eye on is Trend Hunter; this is where I came across Yoobi. I saw Yoobi from a Trend Hunter post for Yoobi Colour Changing Markers, which I instantly thought “wow these are great, I wonder if we get them in Australia?”
I found the Yoobi US website and read their story which really stood out to me, for every product purchased from Yoobi; they donate one to a classroom in need! My instant thought was “we need this here in Australia!”
So I got Emailing and was thrilled to receive a reply! With the news I wanted to hear, Yoobi is coming to Australia. The timing was perfect since Yoobi hadn’t been launch but was very soon, which gave me time to find out more about the great things Yoobi will be doing for kids all around Australia.
The official Launch for Yoobi here in Australia is today 3rd December!

Yoobi has partnered up with The Smith Family who will be ensuring Yoobi products go to the kids and classrooms that need it most. I’m so happy to hear Yoobi have partnered up with The Smith Family since they do such amazing things for so many children- you can read all about The Smith Family HERE
Yoobi means: ONE FOR YOU, ONE FOR ME
We can also help too since for every Yoobi item you purchase; a Yoobi school item will be donated to a child in need through The Smith Family, right here in Australia!
The range will be available exclusively at Officeworks stores nationwide, to view the Yoobi Officeworks range click HERE
Yoobi have started by donating 9,000 (over 100,000 items!) Yoobi gift packs for inclusion in the Christmas and book appeal. From there Yoobi will be donating Classroom packs that contain all the supplies that 30 children would need.
Each Child will receive:
Pencil case
Folder
Pencils
Glue
Markers
Crayons
And more which will be distributed in an ongoing basis through The Smith Family network to:
Primary schools around the country that are a part of The Smith Family network (over 40% of Australian Primary schools)
94 TSF communities
TSF Learning clubs (after school tutoring/learning centres run by The Smith Family)
Yoobi is based on a bright yet simple idea: colourful, vibrant supplies for school, home or office that give back to classrooms in need. You can read more about Yoobi’s Mission and how it works click HERE
The sad but true fact is: One in 10 Australian kids grow up in financially disadvantaged family and may not have access to necessary school supplies. I’m so glad we have Yoobi helping to solve this problem.

Thankyou Yoobi for being you and welcome to Australia!
Let’s all show our support for Yoobi by using the tag @yoobiaustralia!
