After downloading the Texture Pack simply drag the downloaded texture pack from downloads folder into the "texture packs" folder which is located in the .Minecraft folder. Then open up Minecraft, click on the Texture Packs tab and select it.
Q 2- How do you make a nether portal in Minecraft?
Firstly you need 14 obsidian blocks place is a 5x4 rectangle, then you need flint and steel to light the obsidian which creates nether portal. Now you can teleport to the nether!

No it can’t, I’m actually shocked Nintendo hasn’t picked Minecraft up since its target audience is the ages that play Minecraft. Who knows maybe in the future but I wouldn’t be holding my breath.

The multiplayer mode is cross-platform compatible between Android and iOS. So yes it he can.

When punching trees for wood the tree sometimes drops saplings, collect them and place on the ground and that’s how you grow a tree- it can take up to 1 Minecraft day to grow a new tree.

Set a timer on your phone, iPad, alarm clock and stick to it- once it goes off turn off your game. Or do what my son does and enlist your parent to remind you

When I built my castle I made it in creative MCPE- I used inspiration from real Castles around the world. You can find castle blueprints by doing a quick Google search and go from there

Obsidian is used to make The Nether Portal. Obsidian is also resistant to explosions- so that makes it a great building material.

A path in a cave- I was using wood planks to line my way so I wouldn’t lose my way but even though it wasn’t placed on lava it must have been too close and set my path on fire- before I noticed, it was too late and I died.

My son is 10 and really enjoys playing Minecraft on all platforms but mainly Xbox. My Middle daughter is 4 and can’t get enough of Minecraft Pocket Edition and creates amazing builds. So I say yes!
Q76- How do I get my son to reduce his addiction to Minecraft?
Addiction is a very strong word to use, I think you need to set boundaries and stick to them. My son has no computer time on school nights but plays on the weekend, but not before lunch time. If you tell your son he has an hour of Minecraft time, then that means the game must be turned off when the time is up. If he chucks a tanty then take away his next Minecraft time, if playing Minecraft is having a negative impact on your child you might want to take it away for a bit and set up boundaries that you both agree to before giving it back.

Neither, they are their own unique companies and I feel that one buying out the other would impact at least one of them in a bad way even though they both rock.

Really depends on the player- I personally dig down at the spawn point placing ladders as I go till I hit the cave system. Once there, I like to use sand as a path so I don’t get lost, when I find an ore I like to dig 2 blocks in each direction to make sure I don’t miss anything- this is especially when I find diamonds.

What I love about Minecraft is that is no objective besides to have fun. In survival I guess the objective is to build a shelter, find a food source and keep safe from being blown up by creepers

I can only answer for myself, Minecraft has endless possibilities and you can always learn something new. There are no rules, you make the rules, and you create whatever comes to mind- you can join others or play on your own. It’s such a simple concept that we the people have made bigger and better and the popularity won’t go away overnight.
Q98- What is the save file directory for Minecraft PE?
I’m quite sure there isn’t one- about a year ago I was clearing out some older Minecraft worlds on my IPad MCPE and accidently removed my world I had been working on all year! Yep it was gone forever
