90's Kids Toys- I loved!

Logging onto Facebook this morning and saw a meme which made me giggle and brought back so many memories. I was at primary school in the 90's and loved all the things in the below picture besides Lip Smackers, Pokemon and the Babysitters club! So I've decided to use this picture as inspiration for this post by sharing all the toys I loved as a kid!

Tazos

I couldn't get enough Tazos of Tazos as a kid! I remember collecting them from chip packets and playing them with my friends at school. Wanting the best slammers to flip that deck LOL Tazos where first released here in Australia in 1995.

Trolls

AKA Troll Dolls! I remember my older sister stealing my troll dolls :p Mind you they seem to make a come backs over the years here and there but these new ones will never be as good or cute as the originals.

Marbles

Another fad that always makes a comeback has to be marbles! My favourite and most sort after were the speckled kind. I loved playing marbles in the school yard at lunch time, I wasn't good at it and lost so many of my precious collection, but I still have plenty which I have handed down to K- Monster.

Happy Meal Toys

These were always very special to me since I lived in the country as a child we didn't have a McDonald's and rarely went to the city.

Goosebumps Books

I was always putting Goosebumps books on hold from our school and public library, I couldn't get enough! My favourite were the choose your own adventure ones, these are still around and they have DVD's also.

Connector Pens

Faber Castell connector Pens where the must have pencil case accessory at school! Everyone had them, we would make guns from them LOL This is another that hasn't lost popularity and still easily available today

Polly Pocket

Can't remember the year but I got my first Polly Pocket for Christmas and it was one of my most cherished toys.

Yo-Yo

Another toy I wasn't good at but I loved trying, I had a coke-a-cola Yo-yo and a blue one that lit up! Some of the kids at school were amazing at tricks

Tamagotchi

These were the best when I was a kid! Saddest thing was when I forgot to take mine to school and I came back to the screen full of poop :p You can tell we didn't have ipads as kids

Hacky Sack

When I was a kid this was the hip thing to do at school, I was actually not bad at it either! I'm sure if I tried now I would sprain something LOL
