Upon starting Neon Starlight I wasn’t too sure what to expect, I think the game developers need to change the welcome screen to look more professional, at the moment to me it looks a tad tacky.

Once the game starts the real fun begins and I honestly can say I really enjoyed playing Neon Starlight! I’m a huge fan of puzzlers; Neon Starlight not only challenged me but kept me entertained.

You play as a robot called “NEON” who is a fearless maintenance droid; thankfully he was fearless since I made him full off the platforms more than once as I wandered the universe to visit SoIVests energy harvesting facilities! I had so much fun collecting clear energy, pollucite crystals to activate the end level portals to move on to the next level.

The first couple of levels I was like, wow this is so easy but as I progressed it became more and more challenging- I never got bored since even though each level looks simular, the game play added something new and exciting to keep me wanting more.

The controls for Neon Starlight are simple and easy to master, myself (Monster- Mum), Monster- Dad, K- Monster (10yrs old) and C- Monster (4 year old) played the game, C- Monster did need help but she enjoyed playing it with me. K- Monster wasn’t as interested but keep in mind he is 10 and wanted to play a different game on his Xbox, on the other hand Monster- Dad couldn’t get enough of Neon Starlight and I had to pry the iPad out of his hands so I could have a go!

The graphics are stunning being set in space, Neon Starlight truly is an immersive 3D Puzzler and what I loved even more was the soundtrack which fits so well with this game and never get annoying, you can mute the sounds if you want but I never wanted to!

You can try Neon Starlight light first with their lite version and see what you think- the full version is priced at $7.99AUD which is quite expensive for an app but keep in mind by buying the full version you’re helping to develop, update and support the developer to keep making Neon Starlight bigger and better.
