The Longest Minecraft Tunnel!

Was having a look at The Guinness World Records website and came across The Longest Minecraft Tunnel!

Ok so the specs for this record are: The Longest Minecraft Tunnel is, 10,502 blocks and was achieved by a guy named Lachlan Etherton from Australia which was done at EB Games store on the 3 August 2013.

Hard to believe this record hasn't been broken or if it has no one has submitted to the Guinness World Records to prove that it has been broken, considering the tunnel mining took around 50 minutes to do, the lighting of the tunnel took 20 minutes and the walk through of the tunnel to complete the record attempt took 10 minutes, which to me wouldn't be that hard to break.

Also it doesn't mention if this was done in survival or creative which would make a huge difference! This weeks mission perhaps?! Could you break this record? Comment below
